@matthew_d_green I think it's safe to assume that Intel won't do anything they're not forced to by the market unless it's very cheap, and then only in processors targeted at the part of the market that's forcing them to do it (i.e. Google). Row hammer is a good example: it's only mitigated in Xeon CPUs.
